In the 1970s, Franzini Vanny started a joint activity in his shop in Bussolengo, during this time he developed his know-how and expressed his passion for the footwear and crafts world.

In January 1986 Franzini Vanny with Maritan Giancarlo and Righetti Romeo founded Niki shoes with headquarters in Bussolengo in the province of Verona. A few months later, Righetti Romeo left the company.

Since its foundation, the factory focuses its business on the production of high quality footwear, produced exclusively in Italy and with Italian leathers.

Since the ’90s, the company has gained a leading market position in the production of men’s footwear and is one of the largest exporters in Germany of made in Italy shoes.In 1991 was born the Romano Sicari brand that sold shoes in international markets.

On 19th July 1993 was born the brand Green Step a natural lines that focus the attention of the ecological aspect.

In 1995, Maritan Giancarlo left the company that remained wholly owned by the Franzini family. Subsequently, the business expanded further and in 1998 the Bussolengo’s headquarters is expanded.

On 12nd February 1999, was born the brand Nicola Benson with which the company started to distribute its footwear on the Italian market.

In 2012, the footwear factory, initially focused only on the production of men’s footwear, began producing ladies shoes.

In July 2012 Enrico Franzini, CEO of the company, is elected President of the Fashion System of Confindustria Verona

On 15th October 2016, has been inaugurated the Franzini shop in Via Gardesana, 69 / A in Bussolengo, in the same building where Mr. Franzini Vanny established the stitching upper laboratory.

On 15th June 2017, a new logistics warehouse was inaugurated in Bussolengo.
